Working on the implementation of Extended Range Prediction for Applications to Society (ERPAS) ocean model outputs to run OTTM-BGC to achieve near real time simulation capabilities of the Indian Ocean at sub-seasonal time scale and will look into the intra-seasonal to near-mesoscale variability of the ocean carbonaceous variables in Indian Ocean.
Past Work:
Qualification: MTech in Atmospheric Science from SPPU
MTech Thesis: "Implementation of Ensemble Based Higher Resolution near Real Time Simulation of Indian Ocean Biogeochemistry" under the guidance of Dr. Vinu Valsala.
OTTM-ERPAS BGC model for near real-time modeling of Indian Ocean carbon cycle is implemented. The product can be used to predict the near real-time variabilities of upper ocean carbon cycle with
potential of delivering variables such as surface ocean acidification (pH), pCO2 and air-sea CO2 fluxes.
